Brooke and Ben’s wedding day at the Thayer Homestead in Medway, Massachusetts was a beautiful celebration of love and joy. From the moment they saw each other walking down the aisle, to the heartfelt speeches, to their first dance as husband and wife, it was clear that Brooke and Ben were made for each other.
The day started with a lot of fun in the bridal suite at Thayer Homestead, complete with a red velvet couch and rustic wood mantle - dating back to 1653! As they prepared for their ceremony, Brooke and Ben knew that life was meant to be together no matter what obstacles may come up.
Their romantic sunset photos along the pond at Choate Park next to Thayer Homestead, it was time for their intimate reception. At the reception, they took part in an old German wedding custom of cutting a log which symbolizes overcoming the first obstacles together as husband and wife.
After cutting their log together, Brooke and Ben proceeded to the dancefloor for their first dance as husband and wife. As they swayed to the rhythm of their song, it was clear that theirs was a special kind of love - one which would be filled with warmth, joy and romance for many years to come.
The reception continued with all the classic wedding traditions; from cake cutting, to heartfelt speeches from family members. Everyone at the reception was captivated by the romance and energy between Brooke and Ben as they danced together under the romantic lit barn surrounded by those closest to them.
