Clare and Nick’s wedding in Southwest Harbor, Maine was a truly elegant affair – a fitting tribute to the couple’s eye for beauty and attention to detail. From the lovely flowers to the delicious food, every element of the day was carefully planned out. The bride and groom were overjoyed as they said their vows, radiating happiness that was contagious across family and friends. It was an absolute privilege to witness such an intimate event!
The day began with Clare and Nick getting ready at two private residences along the coast overlooking Somes Sound. With their closest friends and family around them, they shared a tender first look moment at Fernald Point – a grassy field with views of Cadillac mountain in Acadia National Park. The fresh coastal breeze rustled through their hair as Clare made her way down towards her future husband who pulled her close so they could admire the natural beauty of Maine’s coast together for a few precious minutes alone.
After taking photos among the tall grasses, it was time for the ceremony which began when Clare arrived by boat – captured dramatically via aerial drone footage – while family & friends looked on from above. As they looked into each other’s eyes and shared stories of their relationship so far, their future dreams, and love for one another, it was clear that this union was something special.
Following the ceremony, everyone gathered at a stunning costal property with a long private beach for the reception which featured two tents offering an elegant atmosphere with sculpted peaks and eaves combined with nautical highbrow décor . Heartfelt speeches from members of both families had everyone in stitches as they reminisced about funny moments leading up to this unforgettable day. A night full of smiles ensued as the newly married couple shared their first dance followed by dances between parents of both bride & groom – setting off a night filled with laughter celebrating an unforgettable wedding in Maine!
