Megan and Olivia Wedding - Red Barn @ Outlook Farm - South Berwick, ME
Meg & Liv’s wedding was a joy to capture this October, the fall foliage was in full swing providing a vibrant array of colors, with dynamic motion of the leafs falling as the wind blew through the afternoon festivities. The Red Barn at Outlook Farm in South Berwick, Maine is one of my favorite facilities to capture given its wide variety of backdrops providing a fun shot around every turn. Megan & OIivia chose to get ready prior to when they wished for me to capture their wedding day, when timelines or budgets don’t allow for video coverage of bridal prep, I always try to stage these shots as they help tell a story of the couple, building up to the ceremony. While shots weren’t scheduled, I was able to spend time with both Meg & Liv individually staging them for some mock getting ready shots that help fill in the preparation shots not being captured. Another area that I try to create with each of my clients are closing shots of the couple, while not every wedding has a formal send off, bringing the couple outside after it gets dark can create for some really fun unique shots to help close a video, utilizing low light lensing and external lighting can really make a shot pop even in the darkest of environments.
