Samantha and Christopher - The Fisherman Restaurant | Groton, CT

Sam & Chistopher’s wedding events took place at three different locations - The Norwich Inn in Norwich, CT (pre-ceremony), St. John the Apostle Church in Plainfield, CT (ceremony), and The Fisherman Restaurant in Groton, CT (reception). Video coverage began at the church, one of my favorite things to capture for couples and include in their videos are the ‘glamour’ shots. The shots of wedding locations prior to guests arriving and how the locations look - empty. Something that makes each wedding unique is when friends and family decorate cars for the bride and groom - Sam and Chris left the church in their car decorated as “Just Married” complete with cans dragging behind. Their formal photos, completed on the beach in Groton, CT made for beautiful sunset formal shots, with natural wind, which made for beautiful and intimate shots of the bride and groom with the cotton candy sky in the background. The Fisherman Restaurant made for a beautifully intimate occasion as they opted for a small reception with perfectly simple decorations throughout. Some couples decide that they want to complete a formal send-off at the end of the night, Sam and Chris did just this - a sparkler sendoff with all their friends cheering on the rest of their lives together as they made their way through the sparkler tunnel - a beautiful ending to a beautiful evening.
